About us
The German-Iranian Chamber of Commerce Association was founded in 1936 as a business club in Berlin and refounded in 1952 in Hamburg. It promotes as independent private-sector association, the economic relations between the Federal Republic of Germany, Europe and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Size and importance of trade between the two countries justifies the focus on only one partner country.
The chamber is politically and ideologically neutral and funded only by membership fees and services. It receives no public financial support either by the Federal Republic or the Islamic Republic.
Our members are German, European and Iranian companies and our selfunderstanding is based in close cooperation with other organizations, to bilaterality, customer service and network thinking.
Our range of services is characterized by:
- We are close to the markets in Iran and Europe
- We orientate our services on practical success of our members and customers
